We have already examined 645 children in the nursery schools

Before the holidays we have started our prevention vision screenings of children in the nursery schools. The aim of these screenings is the early diagnosis of eye disorders, such as strabismus and amblyopia.

From 20^th May to 26^th June of this year we have already visited 14 nursery schools in Prague and examined 645 children. Parents of 221 children received our recommendation for a comprehensive eye examination carried out by a paediatric ophthalmologist.

Vision screenings in the nursery schools are carried out by a medical specialist in the treatment of paediatric eye defects (orthoptist) together with an ophthalmologic nurse.
